Maestrale is a dry white wine, made on the island Pantelleria (see Gimillya Passito)
The grape Zibibo (Moscato d´Alessandria) brings a fantastic flavor of flowers, almost so one could think that perfume is added!
The wine is fermented and aged in steel tank for 9 months, and is let to rest for a couple of months before release.
It is a wine well suited as a aperitif or light dishes with fish. It has a good fruity and floral taste, with a delicious bitternes in the final.
