From the heart of Piedmont comes this wine, one of the most famous and prestigious wine from Italy.
It is made by the young couple Federico and Eleonora, whose first vintage was 2010. So it is a very young farm, but they are doing very good! For two years they have attended the Barolo and Friends event in Copenhagen, and both times they had very much success!
The fruit was hand picked, completely destemmed and lightly crushed. The must was pomped over 4 times per day. Fermentation lasted 15 days on the skins. Aged in Slavonia rovere botte for 30 months. Bottled in Febrary 2016.
Medium-deep ruby red with garnet. There is freshness on the nose can include red fruits and plum followed by warmig broader elements as herbs and spices. Barolo goes well with tipical braised stewed red meats, and spicy and mature cheeses.
